Join us in supporting the Dan Test Applicants on Thursday, July 30th! Doors close at 5 pm sharp. Please be at the Double Tree Hotel early so you don't miss the test.

Testing Procedure
Here is the schedule for our Dan test as well as what to expect to be tested on. Please be sure to arrive early whether you are an applicant or there to support.

Welcome Party
For those in Lansing on Wednesday, we have a Welcome Party for all our international guests and we'd love to have you and your students there to be a part. It will be at Burchfield Park, 881 Grovenburg Rd, Holt, MI 48842! Please plan on being there at 4:30 pm. The overseas guests of honor will be showing up at 5:00 pm, and we want to greet them in mass. Additionally, we will be celebrating Miyazato Sensei's 72nd birthday at this event as well.
Note: It is a county park, so there is an entry fee, $5 for Ingham residents, and $7 for non-residents.

Iha Sensei Memorial

We would like to get together in remembrance of Iha Sensei after the seminar. The doors will open at 6 pm and we will start at 6:30 pm, sharp.
Please dress accordingly which means,
Men - Suit and tie.
(if you don't have a suit, slacks, button down shirt, & tie will be fine.)
Women - Dress, slacks, skirt and top will be fine.
Please dress appropriately for a Memorial.
Darker colors are preferred.
Parking
Guests may purchase a parking pass at the Front Desk for $20 per vehicle, per day.
Garage Location: 219 N. Grand Ave. (Entrance on Ottawa St.)
This option includes unlimited in-and-out privileges throughout your stay, but is only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Self-Parking (City of Lansing)
$15 per night, per personal vehicle
Entrance is located just past Ottawa Street on the left side of N. Grand Avenue.
Please note:
Self-parking does not include in-and-out privileges.
Pull a ticket upon entry.
Pay at the kiosk before exiting.
Helpful Tip: If you park on Level 3 of the parking garage, you can access the hotel through the enclosed skywalk directly into the event space on the second floor. If the doors are locked and you do not have a hotel key card, simply press the intercom button and a member of our Front Desk team will grant you access
Breakfast & Lunch
Check out the menu offered by the Hilton Double Tree for meal and snack options. A very convenient way to eat breakfast before the seminar and lunch between seminars!

Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Microwaves are available on each guestroom floor. They are located on each elevator landing for your convenience.
Ice machines are located on every odd numbered floor.
Housekeeping
First 3 days of service: Includes replacing towels, emptying trash, and restocking amenities like coffee, bulk shower amenities, and bar soap.
On the 4th day: We'll provide full service, which includes a complete linen change in addition to all the regular restocking.
THEN process starts over
Helpful Tip: Please note that housekeeping will not service your room if personal belongings are left on the bed.
